A shop you own outright, built around how you sell.

For shops that have outgrown Shopify or WooCommerce, or that pay every month for apps to do what the shop should do itself.

Demo, Kade bike shop

A Kade Line in Graphite, size M, just added to the cart: the cart drawer over the product page.

What you get

Your own platform

Built on Payload, with Medusa added when you sell in several markets or need a full order system. There's no monthly platform fee, and the code is in your name.

Checkout

Cards, PayPal and local methods like iDEAL, through Stripe, Mollie or the provider you already use. Shipping costs are worked out at checkout.

Products and orders

Sizes, colours, variants and bundles, set up the way your customers shop. Each order updates your stock and sends the invoice without anyone copying data across.

Running it yourself

You add products, change prices and run sales in the editor. Search, cookie consent and accessibility are set up the same way as on every site I build.

From €6,000

One fixed price after a short call, with a launch date in writing.

How it works

  1. Send a brief

Tell me what you need on a short form. A few lines is enough to start.

  2. Short call, fixed price

We agree on what it does. You get one price and one date in writing.

  3. I build, you review

You follow along on a private link and give feedback when it suits you.

  4. Launch and hand-over

Your shop goes live on your accounts and I show you the orders and the editor. Care is optional.

For an existing shop, products, customers and past orders come across, and old product links redirect so you keep your place in Google.

Questions about a new shop

Shopify suits a lot of shops. Your own makes sense when apps, fees or limits start costing more than they save, or when you need the shop to work in a way Shopify won't. The code and the customer data stay yours.

Yes, from €1,200. Products, customers and past orders come across, and old product links redirect. Customers set a new password the first time they log in.

Stripe, Mollie, PayPal or the one you already have, with the methods your customers expect, like cards, Apple Pay or iDEAL. One provider is included, and each extra one is €250.

Not to me. You pay your payment provider's fee on each sale, as with any shop, and hosting on your own account. What hosting costs depends on the shop, and you'll know the figure before we start. Care is optional.

Usually 8 to 12 weeks from the first call, with the launch date in writing. Having your product data ready is what keeps it on time.

Most likely, if you sell to consumers in the EU and have 10 or more staff or over €2 million in turnover. Every shop I build meets WCAG 2.2 AA, which covers what the Act asks for.

Tell me about your shop.

Send a brief with what you sell and where, and you'll get a fixed price and a launch date.
